I somehow wound up with a mini bottle of Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover a while back. Once I started using it, I ignored all other makeup remover products I had, I was so in love with it. I just ran out of it recently and did not hesitate to purchase a full sized bottle. 4.2 oz retails for $21.50CDN.

Here’s what Clinique says about it:
“Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
What it is:
A makeup remover that quickly lifts away long-wearing eye and lip makeup without tugging.
What it is formulated to do:
This eye and lip makeup remover easily dissolves longwearing makeup, even waterproof mascara. This gentle formula is tug-free, non-irritating, and non-stinging.
What else you need to know:
This product is ophthalmologist tested and appropriate for contact lens wearers and all skin types. ”
This stuff makes removing eye makeup a breeze. It even works well on waterproof mascara and long wearing eye liners. No tugging needed (a big plus, excessive tugging or pulling in this sensitive area can contribute to wrinkles!) – just soak your cotton pad with this stuff, hold over your eye for a few seconds, then gently swipe over your eye and lashes a few times and that should do the trick.
Have you tried Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover? What do you usually use to remove your makeup?

This is the best make up remover I’ve ever used. I have used nothing but it since I discovered it. Waterproof mascara, false lashes, lip stains, it takes everything off. I use it with a reusable cotton pad which is so soft so I never have to scrub to take it all off.

I really am amazed at how good this stuff is. I just wish I would have discovered it sooner!
I haven’t been using makeup remover at home much because I’ve discovered the Arbonne RE9 facial cleanser takes everything off at once and is very gentle (and I’m lazy!). But when I use a remover I love the Bioderma Sensibo remover. I got it as a freebie at a Shoppers event and was hooked!
Here’s my review: http://bit.ly/rX6hGn
I’ve heard great things about Bioderma from other people as well. Maybe if I ever get sick of this stuff, I’ll give it a try!
What a great review. I tried this so long ago, but I do remember it was great. I might have to re-purchase soon. Right now I’ve been using Lancome or Avon’s makeup removers.

I would definitely recommend it! And PS, glad to see you’re loving your GHD!
I remember using a Clinique remover a while back but not sure if this one was it or if I liked it or not. I did just get Marcelle Essentials Purity Soothing Cleansing Water & tried it once. I really liked it. Took everything off.

You know, I still haven’t tried the Marcelle Cleansing Water though I have heard raves about it. I need to look into that.
Especially since you have easy access to it

You might like Cliniques Take The Day of balm. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it in Canada and had to buy it when I was in the states. Seriously it is now my HG cleanser. I just ordered another one w/ the F&F sephora sale.

I swear I saw that stuff when I was in Sephora at the Eaton Centre the other day. Now I’m intrigued, I may look into trying it as well. I like the idea of it being able to take off face makeup as well. Thanks for the rec!
That’d be great if they do. I swear I spent so much time last year trying to find it here and I finally gave up and bought it in the states. I’ll have to keep my eyes open the next time I am at the Eaton Centre.
Hey so I definitely saw it at both Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Sephoras over the weekend. It’s not in the Clinique makeup section, it’s in the back of the store with the Clinique skincare. I tested it out on my hand and it feels so nice! So glad you mentioned this stuff to me. It’s on my wishlist now.
